Javi Gracia has made two changes to his Leeds United side to face Liverpool at Elland Road this evening. The Whites need a reaction after their 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last time out and they know a win will see them move five points clear of the Premier League drop zone this evening.
The Spaniard has brought Rodrigo into the starting line-up for the first time since his appointment in West Yorkshire. Rodrigo, who is still the club’s top scorer, is making his first start since recovering from the ankle injury he picked up in the FA Cup win over Accrington Stanley in January.
He comes in to lead the line instead of Patrick Bamford, who has dropped out of the matchday squad entirely and won’t be involved tonight. Brenden Aaronson, Luis Sinisterra and Jack Harrison have been selected to play in behind the Spain international in what looks like an attacking and dangerous front four, while Weston McKennie and Marc Roca keep their respective spots in the middle of the park.

Rasmus Kristensen looks set to start at right-back after replacing Luke Ayling in the starting XI and with Liam Cooper being named on the bench, Rodrigo takes the captain’s armband.
Max Wober is with the squad for the first time since picking up a thigh injury while representing Austria last month. The defender has missed Leeds' last three but he’s been selected as a substitute tonight and depending on the context of the game, Gracia could look his way at some point.
Leeds United: Illan Meslier; Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk, Junior Firpo; Weston McKennie, Marc Roca; Luis Sinisterra, Brenden Aaronson, Jack Harrison, Rodrigo
Bench: Joel Robles, Max Wober, Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper, Adam Forshaw, Crysencio Summerville, Sam Greenwood, Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto
