Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere is set to fly to Italy to complete his move to AC Milan, according to reports. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that the striker will sign for the Serie A champions on Monday, despite strong interest from Jesse Marsch's side.
The Whites have reportedly had an offer on the table for the Club Brugge striker for some time, but De Ketelaere only ever wanted to join AC Milan despite ' Premier League interest'. Romano said on Twitter: "Charles De Ketelaere will fly to Milano tomorrow in order to complete move to AC Milan on Monday.
"Medical and contracts already prepared. #ACMilan Fee will be €36m add-ons included for De Ketelaere who only wanted to join Milan despite Premier League interest."
With De Ketelaere now set to move to the Italian giants, the Whites will look at other forward options as their search for a striker continues. Marsch is keen to add a forward to his squad to add more depth at the top end of the pitch, especially as Patrick Bamford only played nine Premier League games last season.
De Ketelaere was the Whites' primary target, but they've also been linked with the likes of PSG forward Arnaud Kalimuendo, Chile international Ben Brereton Diaz and highly-rated Rennes star Martin Terrier.
