It's been a turbulent week for Leeds United to say the least. After slipping to 17th in the Premier League table following their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, manager Jesse Marsch was sacked which has led to numerous names being linked with the Elland Road job.
In spite of all of the attention around the club, the players did their talking on the pitch against Manchester United as they took a hard-earned point away from Old Trafford.
However, the question of who will take over as the permanent manager of Leeds is one many want answered, including the club itself who are still hunting for Marsch's replacement.

With all the rumours around each manager constantly swirling around, we had our man Beren Cross answer all of your questions in our latest Q&A session. Here's what he had to say.
RussVMedia: Do you think we could see an appointment before the second Manchester United game on Sunday?
Beren Cross: Too difficult to say. A lot of moving parts across several candidates and who knows how things could line up for any one of them. If I was putting money on it, I would bet Skubala is in the dugout.
TimCampbell: Thoughts on Max Wober...do you see Wober and Koch as our number one partnership in the centre of defence? And if so I imagine the number one transfer target would be that old chestnut again a LEFT BACK?
Beren Cross: Wober was colossal last night. Every match he plays he seems to get better and more impressive. It was telling the way Skubala highlighted his leadership qualities in the dressing room too, alongside the predictable names of Ayling and Cooper.
He and Koch look rock solid together too. As much as we may like that, it's massive ask to see the club captain left out, especially by a caretaker boss, so I would expected Cooper to start on Sunday if he's fit to do so.
tiggywinkle: Keep Skuabla till the end of the season. He knows the players and he got them playing out wide last night which is what even players have been saying for weeks.
Beren Cross: As good as it was last night, it was one match. If Sunday goes as well, if not better, then that noise may start to build, but imagine the uproar if he was given the Everton and Southampton games and they lost them? It's a PR disaster for the club if that happened.
Craig92: Would Pochettino be a serious option that club would consider, or is it just media linking him as played under Bielsa?
Beren Cross: Out of work, so not under consideration, but I would be amazed if he rang Orta up and he was turned down.
TimCampbell: Hi Beren, have you any insight as to why the board have been casting their eyes abroad so much in the search for a manager and not sounding out options already here at home with experience of the Premiership and various teams styles of play. Has there ever been talk of a Rodgers or Thomas Frank type who is already managing here atm?
Beren Cross: I don't think there is a bias against coaches curently working in England. I would imagine coaches across Europe are considered on their own merits and those who are the most successful, within their wage budget, with the right style of football, will be shortlisted.
I haven't asked about Rodgers or Frank, but they both seem entrenched with their current clubs. I would imagine they would need significant compensation/minimum fee release clauses.
F_Wilson6: Hi Beren, would really enjoy Slot, where’s that one at, easier than Iraola? Plus would Slot want to come… plus what’s the time scale we looking at?
Beren Cross: It certainly seems as though Slot has more of a chance than Iraola at the moment, but that's more down to the fact the latter has reached the standstill and the former hasn't had the time to grind to a halt yet. Early days, but Feyenoord seem very keen to keep him. Noises seem to be positive from Slot's camp, but as I say, it's very early days.
Time scale is impossible to predict with so many moving parts and different candidates. Skubala would be the smart money bet for Sunday's match, but that's three days away.
Craig92: Is the current plan to appoint some one long term now. Has been any discussion about giving Skuabla to end of season, to get preferred candidate?
Beren Cross: No, all the noise from Leeds would suggest they definitely want a permanent appointment as quickly as possible. They know the league position is too precarious to wait until the summer for someone.
matt95: Hi Beren, has Knutsen at bodo/Glimt had a mention on the shortlist? Think he's a really promising manager.
Beren Cross: I understand Knutsen would, unsurprisingly, be interested in the position, but as it stands he's not towards the fore. Things may of course change as various candidates' situations change and he could come into the reckoning, but not at the moment, I believe.
ZachLUFC: Are Hasenhuttl and Nuno serious options? Fans seem to be throwing their names about as the bottom of the barrel options we'll go for if there's literally no one else, but would are they actually on Leeds' list at all?
Beren Cross: I can't be sure on Nuno, but Hasenhuttl is out of work and I am led to believe the current targets are all still in work.
Craig92: Sinisterra has seemed to be in and out all season, with injuries affecting him in first season. Did Slot manage him and get best out him last season.
Beren Cross: Yes, Slot was in charge at Feyenoord when Sinisterra put together by far the best season of his career. It would be fascinating to see them work together again.
ZachLUFC: You say Leeds are getting on with second interviews for some unnamed candidates today, any hints as to who they are? If not, are all the names on Leeds' main shortlist now out in the press (Corberan, Iraola, Slot), or are there some yet to be revealed? Is Gallardo actually an option or is it just lazy links just because Bielsa was Argentinian too?
Beren Cross: No, I don't know who they are at this stage, otherwise we'd definitely report them. Just been told there's progress on second interviews for some of them. I am told there are still a couple which haven't reached the public domain yet.
