Leeds United fans reiterated their desire to see signings made in next month's January transfer window after seeing their side 'outclassed' in a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at Elland Road on their return to Premier League football following the winter break.
The Whites were just 10 seconds away from making it to halftime but a quick counter-attack spawned by a lovely Ilkay Gundogan turn meant Rodri could slot home Riyad Mahrez's deflected effort to make the score 1-0 to the visitors.
It didn't take them long to double their lead - who else but Erling Haaland to make it 2-0? A glaring error from Whites captain Liam Cooper gave the ball away to Jack Grealish who drew out Illan Meslier and calmly passed the ball across the box for Haaland to tap it into an empty net.

Haaland bagged his 20th goal of the season to make it 3-0 in the 64th minute, another link-up with Grealish this time on the other side of the box and another calm finish put the game to bed.
Or so some thought. Pascal Struijk thumped a Sam Greenwood corner past City goalkeeper Ederson to give the home fans a slither of hope for a result from the match.
But it was ultimately the visitors who came out victorious as many took to social media to discuss the result, with most being disappointed in the wasteful possession on display, while others called for more signings in January.
@JakeKen07114092: Left back needed ASAP
@AndyM85724805: I maintain my view that our tactics are not right for this team. Yes we need a couple of players but Jesse could address the style of play.
@Mickmoon15: Koch, Cooper, Roca been terrible in possession. Its going to be another tough season. Going to be difficult enticing players to the Club playing like this
@YEAHJames: Outclassed, new additions in January needed #lufc #MOT
@_Thomaaaaaaaaassss: Not gonna lie, Leeds played a really good match, Gnonto best player on the pitch
@KevinFordham: Serious investment needed. Lb strong cb and another cm desperately needed.
@CalderDarryn: were we there to play football or there to admire Haaland?? the managers the players at the end all running over to talk to Haaland embarrassing
