Leeds United supporters make depth claim after Jesse Marsch confirms side to face Aston Villa

Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on the Whites' first starting XI for nearly a month as they prepare to host Aston Villa at Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch's side will be looking for their third win of the season after a good start has seen them take eight points from their first six matches.

Steven Gerrard's Villa, however, haven't enjoyed their start to the campaign as they currently sit in 15th although a 1-0 win last time out against Southampton might give them some confidence.

The starting XI sees the return of captain Liam Cooper in defence and Rodrigo Moreno up front, while summer signings Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and Brenden Aaronson all keep their places. Luke Ayling sees an appearance on the bench alongside Patrick Bamford.

Fans flocked to social media to discuss the line-up, with Leeds' options on the bench particularly catching the eye of some supporters.

@PovedaSZN: Warsch

@lufc_dylan: It's beautiful

@richie1979: Strong side that and bench

@lewisjohnson31: Finally some squad depth!

@BenBuford11: Best line-up of the season!

@____JDG____: I need a good Aaronson performance

@MaxineGFX: Happy with this, Rasmus has to show up

@sjlufc: To be fair that's the best bench we have had in two years.

@Crowther9195: Massive push for a win today lads, loving that team sheet

@ExpatTennisFan: Is that the strongest bench we have had since returning to the PL. I would say that it is.
