Leeds United's Crysencio Summerville has revealed he has set himself a target of making the Netherlands 2026 World Cup squad. The Dutchman has been one of the Whites most impressive players this season, scoring four goals in four consecutive Premier League games before the enforced World Cup break.
Two of those strikes were late winners against Liverpool at Anfield and Bournemouth at Elland Road, with both goals sending Leeds fans into rapturous scenes.
Signed from Feyenoord back in 2020, Summerville is one of Leeds crown jewels. The Whites have in recent transfer windows aimed their focus at signing young, talented players who will develop into stars they can utilise in their first team.

And the 21-year-old, who signed a new deal with the Whites this past summer, is currently enjoying a breakthrough season this term at Elland Road.
Having made three appearances for the Dutch U21s, Summerville now has his sights set on breaking into the Netherlands senior team. Should he continue his fine form for the Whites, it surely won't be long before he does so. By the time the 2026 World Cup comes around, Summerville will be 25-years-old and in the prime of his career.
And the Dutch winger hopes his performances for Leeds, which he now calls home, can catapult him into the 2026 Netherlands World Cup conversation.
"My goal is 2026," Summerville told the MailOnline. "If I can keep going, that is the plan. At my old club, we had conversations but it wasn't clear enough for me, that's why I joined Leeds.
"I didn't know about the history of Leeds, but in my first six months here, they told me more and I liked it. I've been here for two-and-a-half years, so I can call this my home. From the first day I came here, I think Leeds fans are the best. The sound in the stadium every game, the support is massive."
