Mateusz Klich has given Leeds United supporters one last laugh ahead of an emotional send off this evening. The Whites are giving the midfielder an opportunity to say his farewells to supporters at tonight's game against Cardiff City.
The 32-year-old has joked that international team-mate Robert Lewandowski is set to join the Whites from Barcelona, after a cryptic tweet from the Whites telling supporters to get into seats with plenty time.
The Poland international will head to the MLS to link up with Wayne Rooney's DC United, bringing an end to his six-year tenure at Elland Road. Klich was part of the Leeds team than won the Championship title in 2020 but will head off to chase the 'American dream.'

@MaxMorgannn9 tweeted: "Any chance of getting the big man to Elland Road Klichy?"
@_JohnBoy_ said: "I hope the people who manage Lewandowski's social media accounts are frantically scrambling around right now trying to figure out if they have missed something and why they are getting thousands of notifications."
@BillyLumsden10 said: "He understood what it was to be Leeds, he got what it meant to be Leeds, and always put his body on the line. One of my favourite ever Leeds players."
@El_Loco_Jo tweeted: "Don't ever stop @Cli5hy, this is a big reason why we'll always love and miss you. Time to show you how much."
@ZHorseRacing said: "All the very best with your new club and thank you for everything you did for our club! Always a legend!"
@Wizzili said: "Superb!"
