Javi Gracia has named Rodrigo as captain in one of two changes for Leeds United's Premier League clash against Liverpool at Elland Road.
The Spaniard makes his first league start in three months, and comes in at the expense of Patrick Bamford, who has dropped out of the squad completely.
Rasmus Kristensen replaces Luke Ayling in the Whites' second and final change, while Max Wober returns to the bench after three games out with a hamstring injury.

Leeds have collected three wins from seven in the Premier League under Gracia. However, they dropped to 16th place, and sit two points clear after losing 5-1 at the hands of Crystal Palace last time out.
The Whites have been presented with another chance to climb five points clear of the drop zone, after the clubs directly below them all lost over the weekend.
Leeds United: Meslier; Kristensen, Koch, Struijk, Firpo; Roca, McKennie; Harrison, Aaronson, Sinisterra; Rodrigo (c).
Subs: Robles, Ayling, Cooper, Wober, Forshaw, Greenwood, Summerville, Rutter, Gnonto.
Here is how Leeds supporters have been reacting to Gracia's latest starting XI on social media...
@nigelLUFC Wober on the bench. Luke Ayling dropped. Rodrigo starting. Interesting.
@hubyaaron1 Should be Summerville for Aaronson imo. I trust Gavi though and hope we can bounce back from Palace.
@ShayPurdy44 Rodrigo finally.
@R_Stead4 No Ayling or Bamford haha. Only downside is Gnonto should be in for Harrison. Would like to see Wober come on in the second half for Struijk to get some minutes in him.
@jimmy_L_UFC Wober should be starting without a doubt.
@yasir_ahma Only criticism is I'd have started with Rutter sat behind Rodri instead of Aaronson.
@Thomas_Roberts2 Ayling dropped and Wober back in the squad, this is what I like to see.
@bigbadg123 Willy on bench, Aaronson playing, absolutely baffles me beyond belief.
@PlayAllTheWay Wober back in match day squad is all I need to see. Come on boys!
@kirby_ciaran How does Aaronson keep getting played. And Rodrigo must be the most overrated player at Leeds. Constantly puts in poor performances
@RenoldSolo If Wober is fit enough for the bench he should be 100% starting.
@paulc1989_ Haha we conceded 5 against palace and there's only once change at the back 4… Bad call.
@samcussins I’m sorry but Gracia has completely lost the plot. Gnonto is the best young winger in the league. How is he not starting. Shocking decision.
