Leeds United supporters deliver verdict on whether board are right to keep faith in Jesse Marsch

Despite Leeds United's poor recent run of results, it appears as though the hierarchy at Elland Road are willing to give Jesse Marsch more time. The Whites are now winless in their last eight matches and have picked up just two points in that timeframe.

Marsch is coming under increasing pressure from supporters after such a disappointing series of results, with sections of Elland Road singing, 'you're getting sacked in the morning' during Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Fulham. Given the scrutiny surrounding his future, LeedsLive ran a survey for Leeds supporters questioning whether it is the right decision for the board to keep faith with the American.

With just short of 1500 responses, a large majority of 60.8% think that the board are wrong to continue with Marsch at the helm. Leeds' run of form is arguably worse than the final weeks of Marcelo Bielsa's time in charge, which ultimately saw him sacked in February.

That said, there are still a decent number of supporters that believe the board are actually correct in sticking with him, with just under a third at 27.1% thinking he still deserves more time. The remaining 12.1% admit they are unsure whether it is the right decision.

Ultimately, the next three matches could be what decides the fate of Marsch, with a six-week World Cup break set to arrive in mid-November. Marsch certainly has his work cut out in turning it around, though, with trips to Liverpool and Tottenham either side of a home clash with Bournemouth.
