Leeds United striker Rodrigo issues update as he continues injury recovery

Leeds United forward Rodrigo Moreno has given an update on his shoulder injury as his team-mates prepare for Monday's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

The Spaniard dislocated his shoulder in Leeds' 1-1 draw against Everton at Elland Road last week after scoring four goals in the first five games of Leeds' season.

Rodrigo is now set for a spell on the sidelines until he returns to full fitness, but with this new update, fans might be optimistic that a return may take place sooner rather than later.

Posting a story to his Instagram account, Rodrigo gave fans a clue as to his injury recovery and how he's getting along.

The picture showed him in the medical room with the caption "Good morning. All Good."

Last week, manager Jesse Marsch gave his own update on the 31-year-old, saying that he'll be returning most likely after the international break.

"An update on Rodrigo - when it pops out, it's about as good a case scenario as possible," said Marsch.

"That means that it doesn't need surgery and that hopefully in three to four weeks it can calm down. Maybe it takes a little bit longer, maybe it's a little bit shorter.

"We will see. He feels good, he feels confident that he will be ready fairly soon so we're kind of targeting after the international break."
