Leeds United star Tyler Adams has reflected on his time as captain of the United States Men's National Team at this year's World Cup as he serves his suspension for the Whites.

"It's a whirlwind to say the least. Even when I try and look back at it now, I couldn't believe how quickly it went by. Getting off the plane in Qatar, I was so excited to be able to see my family and then you realise in five days time you have to play a game.
"Going into the World Cup, it was our job to go in there and try and change the way the world views American soccer, the standard wasn't too high but hopefully after this World Cup and those good performances, people will start to change the way they think about us."
