Sam Allardyce makes his Elland Road bow as Leeds United boss this afternoon and the former England boss knows just how vital it will be for his side to get a result against Newcastle United.
Leeds have just three games remaining to dig their way out of the relegation quagmire, kicking the weekend off 19th in the Premier League table, two places and two points from safety. A win against Eddie Howe's Champions League hopefuls would pile the pressure on the likes of Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City who all play later this weekend.
Allardyce has four injuries to contend with and although he said the situation around the treatment table was 'not too bad' in Thursday's pre-match press conference, Leeds will have to make do without some key players.

Liam Cooper is not yet fit to return to the squad, with Stuart Dallas still unavailable, while Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra will not play against this season.
Allardyce will have a number of key decisions to make, most notably in goal, where he dropped Illan Meslier for his first game in charge at Manchester City and up front, where Rodrigo came off the bench to score at the Etihad.
