Leeds United squad revealed for Everton clash with changes possible

Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Everton at Elland Road on Tuesday evening. The Whites suffered their first defeat of the season against Brighton on Saturday, and they have little time to feel sorry for themselves, with a midweek game against the Toffees presenting them with an opportunity to get back on the winning trail.

Given the defeat in Sussex and the quick turnaround, Jesse Marsch could make changes to his starting XI. Luis Sinisterra seems like the most likely candidate to force his way into the team, although Mateusz Klich also has a chance of getting his first league start of the season.

Once again, whether there are any changes to the 20-man squad will depend on the fitness of Patrick Bamford and Liam Cooper. Bamford has missed out on the last three matchdays squads due to an issue with his adductor, but he could return for the game against Everton.

Marsch said: "Patrick Bamford will be really close for that match."

If he is available, then Bamford could replace Crysencio Summerville on the bench. Cooper missed out against Brighton due to a minor calf problem. After missing pre-season and the start of the new campaign, it looked as though Cooper was back in the first-team picture after completing 45 minutes in the Carabao Cup against Barnsley, but he has suffered another setback.

Leeds will be keen to ensure that Cooper is fully fit before he is risked, so it's unlikely that he will be in the squad to face Everton.

Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Kristoffer Klaesson, Rasmus Kristensen, Cody Drameh, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Leo Hjelde, Pascal Struijk, Adam Forshaw, Mateusz Klich, Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Luis Sinisterra, Dan James, Brenden Aaronson, Jack Harrison, Sam Greenwood, Joe Gelhardt, Rodrigo, Patrick Bamford.
