Leeds United face major competition for Charles De Ketelaere's signature this summer. The Belgian international has emerged as one of the Whites top transfer targets with club officials keen to reinforce Leeds' attacking options ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.
De Ketelaere has also been linked with both Arsenal, Chelsea and Serie A champions AC Milan, who are also said to be keen on the Club Brugge star. But Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claim Southampton are hopeful of landing the 21-year-old by offering him a massive salary bump.
Recently it was claimed both Leeds and AC Milan had made offers for the Belgian, who is one of Europe's most sought-after prospects. Twitter transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported Leeds' offer was worth €30m plus add-ons while AC Milan's stood at around €20m.

Given the financial strength of Premier League sides in comparison to the rest of Europe, it is not out of the question the Saints could rival Leeds' bid. The Saints have made a strong commitment to signing young first-team players this summer and at 21, De Ketelaere would fit the bill nicely.
But while Brugge would be inclined to accept the best offer, De Ketelaere may have his heart set on a move to the San Siro, with AC Milan able to offer the 21-year-old Champions League football next season.
