Crystal Palace owner Steve Parish has described relegation as the "biggest financial jeopardy in world football", and has warned that a club's turnover could drop by £105 million in just one season.
Leeds are currently two places and one-point clear of danger, although they face a difficult run-in with Manchester City and Newcastle United still to play.
The Whites avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth last season, and are set to face another tight battle this term under Javi Gracia.

Recent reports have claimed that The 49ers Enterprise would pay no more than £150 million in the event of relegation, which would mean Andrea Radrizzani could miss out on a whopping £270 million.
And Parish, whose Palace side have steered themselves away from the relegation zone, spoke about the grim financial reality of relegation at an event in Brussels.
“Relegation from the Premier League is probably the biggest financial jeopardy in world football,” Parish said.
“If you look at (Crystal Palace’s) turnover in the Premier League, it’s in the region of £175m. First season in the Championship it would be about £70m. There’s no amount of salary cuts for players you could bake in to cover that loss.
“In the third season it’s worse and by the fourth season (without a parachute payment) you’re down to about £20million. So, in three years you have to come down from £175m to £20m.”
