Leeds United talisman Tyler Adams has hailed Jude Bellingham as “the most complete midfielder” in world football. The Whites midfielder went head-to-head with the 19-year-old at the World Cup in Qatar.
Despite entering the Group B clash as underdogs, Adams held his own and earned plenty of post-match praise for helping the United States grind out a 0-0 draw. Bellingham - one of the hottest properties in the sport - played 70 minutes before coming off for Jordan Henderson.
Several Premier League clubs are linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund star. Birmingham City sold Bellingham to the Bundesliga giants as a mere 17-year-old for £30million and, just two-and-a-half years on, estimates value him at almost five times the price.

An astronomical fee places Bellingham out of Leeds’ range, with Andrea Radrizzani spending less than that on seven players last summer. Manchester City and Liverpool are the favourites to sign the midfielder should he seek a return to England.
Speaking to the Men In Blazers podcast, Adams - who captained the USA at the World Cup - raved about the England star. He said: “He’s (Bellingham) is an unbelievable player all around. I would probably go as far as to say that he is the most complete midfielder in the world.”
“What doesn’t the kid have? He’s a really talented player. You could see his mentality on the field. How much he wants to win, how he’ll do everything to win, always wants to get on the ball... comfortable in a lot of situations. He’s a really, really talented player.”
