USA captain Tyler Adams believes his side showed just what they were capable of in their opening World Cup draw with Wales.
The Leeds United midfielder helped the USA to a 1-1 draw against Wales, in a game that saw Adams and co dominate the first 45 minutes.
The USA took the lead heading into half-time through Timothy Weah, with Wales seemingly unable to land a real blow upon their opponents.

However, the introduction of Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore in the second half changed the game, with Wales looking far more threatening as a result.
Rob Page's side looked rejuvenated in the second half and managed to find an equaliser late on through Gareth Bale, who slammed home an 82nd-minute penalty past Matt Turner to ensure the spoils were shared.
The first 45 minutes of action should give Adams and the USA plenty of hope they can progress from Group B to the World Cup knockout stages. Next up for them is England, who they face off against on Friday night.
And speaking in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw, Adams revealed he was "proud" of the display put on by his teammates, many of whom were making their World Cup debuts.
"Greg [Berhalter] came up with a very good match plan on how to exploit the spaces," Adams said.
"We had some good runs in behind. In the second half we changed. We had to adapt to what they were doing.
"Obviously, they bring on a different player and change their game plan to limit our [runs] in behind a bit more. And yeah, we failed to execute a little bit, but we were still pretty dominant.
"I'm very proud of this team with the start that we had. We played with a bunch of confidence today. For a large part of the game, we dominated the game. So for a lot of us [this] being our first World Cup. You can see an ambitious group, fearless group, and we came after it.
"But it comes down to the smallest details in a game like this. And a PK in the end but we go away with a point, and we focus on the next game now."
