Robin Koch has emerged as a possible candidate for Manchester United this summer, according to reports. He's also being credited with interest from the Bundesliga as speculation over his future continues to grow.
With the Glazer family currently the subject of a possible takeover, manager Erik ten Hag is working on a limited budget. The focus of his transfer kitty is expected to be splashed on a number nine, but he's also in the market for defenders and is looking to be creative.
It's being claimed that Koch's name appears on a list of possible candidates who could move to Old Trafford as a potential cut-price fall-back option. There have been reports suggesting a clause in Koch's contract will allow him to leave Elland Road on loan without a loan fee following relegation.
That has alerted several clubs, who feel they can land a bargain next season. Koch has been one of the standout players for Leeds United in the Premier League during a disappointing campaign. He featured in all but two league matches last season.

After arriving from Freiburg in a deal close to £12m, Koch has pulled on the white shirt 77 times in all competitions and a return to the Bundesliga could also be on the cards.
Along with the link to Man United, Bayer 04 Leverkusen are also being credited with 'concrete interest'. Bayer defender Jonathan Tah looks set to leave this summer and Leverkusen are on the lookout for a replacement.
Eintracht Frankfurt are also reported to be keen. German reporter Florian Plettenberg said: "Understand Bayer 04 Leverkusen has entered the race for Robin Koch.
"Concrete interest as a possible replacement for Tah! He’s also a candidate for Eintracht Frankfurt. Another club from the Premier League seems to be in the pole position for now. Open race."
Koch is among a number of Leeds United players attracting interest after their Premier League stay came to an end on the final day of the season. Striker Rodrigo is expected to depart, while Everton are looking to pounce on their relegation having been linked with four players so far.
