Leeds United's recent injury-time winners ranked after Joe Gelhardt dramatic Norwich winner

Leeds United have always had a penchant for the dramatic and it was on full display during the 2-1 win over Norwich City.

The club's precarious position in the table provided the backdrop for a tense afternoon, during which the Whites appeared to have thrown away three points by conceding a late equaliser.

However, teenage prodigy Joe Gelhardt stepped up to latch on to Raphinha's pass and steer home, sending Elland Road into a frenzy and securing a crucial three points.

The late drama was reminiscent of several last-gasp goals and LeedsLive have ranked the most memorable injury-time winners since the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign.

5. Wes Harding OG - Birmingham City 4-5 Leeds United, December 2019

Marcelo Bielsa's reign at Leeds yielded several action-packed matches but arguably none were as chaotic as the clash with Birmingham City in December 2019.

Nine goals flew in as attacks came out firmly on top in the Midlands, and the last of the nine was steered into the wrong net by Birmingham defender Wes Harding.

The Leeds away end did erupt but this goal only makes fifth as it was an own goal, which slightly takes the shine off it.

4. Kemar Roofe - Aston Villa 2-3 Leeds United, December 2018

Controversially, Kemar Roofe's 95th-minute winner at Villa Park only ranks at number four.

The occasion was spectacular and the strike was made even sweeter by the fact it completed a comeback from a two-goal deficit.

There is nothing that can be said to detract from this winner and it has simply lost out to a stellar top three.

3. Joe Gelhardt - Leeds United 2-1 Norwich City, March 2022

Gelhardt's strike goes straight in at number three, largely due to the significance of the goal.

A draw would have left Leeds just three points ahead of Burnley, who have two games in hand, and the burden of the winless streak would have continued to weigh heavy.

It was also imperative that head coach Jesse Marsch got his first win under his belt, relieving some pressure on the American in his quest to keep Leeds afloat after two defeats in his opening two matches.

The three points were crucial but killing the narrative of Leeds and Marsch's ongoing quest for a win is something that could pay dividends in the run-in.

2. Stuart Dallas - Manchester City 1-2 Leeds United, April 2021

If supporters had been present for Dallas' 91st-minute winner at the Etihad Stadium, it would most likely sit in top spot.

The spirit on display that day embodied what Bielsa's Leeds were all about during their first season in the Premier League and the winner, especially considering it followed a prolonged Manchester City onslaught, was truly something to behold.

Leeds had dug deep with 10 men and the elation on the face of Dallas after he slotted past Ederson was a special sight.

1. Kemar Roofe - Leeds United 3-2 Blackburn Rovers, December 2018

When Charlie Mulgrew notched his second of the afternoon in the 90th minute to put Blackburn Rovers ahead, the visitors appeared to have snatched a victory against the odds at Elland Road.

What they perhaps did not envisage was a sensational Leeds rally, during which Roofe would strike twice to ensure it was Leeds who left with three points.

The roar inside Elland Road when Roofe headed into the bottom corner had the potential to deafen and that winner will always stand out as one of the highlights of Bielsa's tenure.
