Leeds United face eight league games in just under six weeks, starting with the visit of Aston Villa to Elland Road on October 2. The Whites will be in action for the first time in just under a month and should be confident of ending a three-match winless run in the league against a Villa side, who are yet to register a single point away from home this term.
They have amassed five more points (eight) than at this stage last season and will be buoyed by their impressive form at Elland Road. Only Tottenham (12), Manchester City and Arsenal (nine each) have earned more home points than Leeds (seven) this season.
The Whites play host to Villa, Arsenal, Fulham and AFC Bournemouth respectively before the season pauses for six weeks ahead of this winter's World Cup.
On paper, Leeds could very well extend their strong home record when Villa, Fulham and Bournemouth visit West Yorkshire, but their games on the road may prove more difficult.
