Leeds United's Mateusz Klich reportedly drawing interest from Europe amid January exit rumours

Leeds United could reportedly be set to lose Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich in the January transfer window.

Klich, who played a huge part in helping Leeds earn promotion back to the Premier League, has seen his minutes cut this term following the summer arrivals of Marc Roca and Tyler Adams.

TEAMtalk claim the 32-year-old is attracting interest from France, Italy and Germany, with some of those tentative enquiries being loan proposals with a view to buy.

Roca and Adams are Jesse Marsch's preferred partnership in Leeds 4-2-3-1 which has left Klich sidelined.

While he has made 11 Premier League appearances for the Whites this season, almost all of them have come as a substitute late on in games.

Klich has played just 188 minutes in the Premier League, which averages out at around 17 minutes per appearance.

The lack of game time has also contributed to the midfielder missing out on making the Poland squad for the Qatar World Cup, just a year after he featured in all of their EURO 2020 group stage games last summer.

Should Klich move on in January, it could potentially leave Leeds short in terms of their midfield depth. Klich's contract at Elland Road runs until the summer of 2024.
