Leeds United certainly look as though they have hit the jackpot with a number of their signings in the summer. The Whites brought in eight new players during the window, with five of them expected to come in and have an impact on Jesse Marsch’s side instantly.
Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Brenden Aaronson, Luis Sinisterra and Rasmus Kristensen are those players, with Leeds needing to beef up the squad following the departures of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha. So with that in mind, LeedsLive have marked each of them out of 10 for their performances in the opening six matches.
Tyler Adams – 8.5/10
Has arguably been Leeds’ player of the season so far with a series of industrious performances in the middle of the park. Stood out in each of the matches against Chelsea and Everton, but even on a less effective day has given Leeds plenty in the engine room.

Leeds fans were certainly promised work rate upon his arrival from RB Leipzig, but his progressive passing has also been better than expected. Additionally, only Joao Palhinha of Fulham has made more tackles so far this season.
Marc Roca – 8/10
Would certainly be on par with Adams, if not better but if the early substitutions in each of the first four matches. Roca has been Leeds’ anchor from deep in possession, with both the ability to keep it short and go long.
The 25-year-old has been the most progressive passing midfield in the Premier League so far this season. Roca also has a knack of being in the right place at the right time to win the ball back.
Brenden Aaronson – 7.5/10
Again, would almost certainly be higher but for a slight dip in his performances in the last couple of matches. Aaronson started the season like a house on fire, winning plaudits from all across the media.
The young American provides Leeds with something they haven’t really had in their last two Premier League seasons – the ability to drive with the ball from midfield. Just needs to tighten up his final product.
Luis Sinisterra – 7.5/10
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him top of the list come the end of the season if his performances since returning from injury are anything to go by. Sinisterra has scored in each of his three starts for Leeds, including two in the Premier League.
The Colombian already looks an able deputy for Raphinha, with his flair nicely complemented by his ability to find an end product. Sinisterra appears to be a bargain at £21 million.
Rasmus Kristensen – 4.5/10
Kristensen has certainly been the most disappointing of Leeds’ five major signings this summer. The right back has struggled to get to grips with the pace of the Premier League, though there have been signs of improvements in recent weeks.
His performance against Everton was certainly his best to date, but he will still be looking to produce more from an attacking perspective. An injury sustained in training that is set to keep him out for three weeks could even see him lose his place to Luke Ayling.
