Leeds United winger Daniel James has been called up for the latest Wales squad as Rob Page's side look to book a place in this year's World Cup finals in Qatar. The Dragons face four difficult upcoming fixtures, with their World Cup qualifying play-off final against either Scotland or Ukraine, before a trio of Nations League fixtures.
Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands will provide he opposition there, with James set to be well-rested as he will have missed the final two Premier League fixtures of the season, following his red card against Chelsea.
He remains an important part of the Welsh national team, though. Like at Leeds, the 24-year-old has played as a striker for his country in recent times, partnering Gareth Bale up front as Rob Page set his side up to play off the counter attack in the play-off semi-final against Austria.

Meanwhile, the Germany squad has been released, with Leeds defender, Robin Koch absent. The German had been included in the previous squad but was forced to miss out due to testing positive for Covid.
Another player who has been called up for his country is Raphinha. Leeds' star winger has become an important part of the Brazil side, ever since receiving his first call-up and the start of the season.
