Leeds United's Cody Drameh ready to do his talking on the pitch in Luton Town loan

Leeds United youngster Cody Drameh says he's ready to do his talking on the pitch after joining Luton Town on loan for the remainder of the season. The Whites' youngster was voted Cardiff City's player of the season in a similar loan last season, with Jesse Marsch setting the challenge of competing in the first team when he returns.

Speaking after signing for the Hatters, Drameh said: “I’m really happy to be here. The manager really wanted me and I’m ready to progress, I can’t wait to get going.”

“I like to do my talking on the pitch. I’m one that believes actions speak louder than words so hopefully I can show that on the pitch, show what I can bring to the table in the next game.

“It is a great time to be at the club. You guys are flying so I’m just hoping to add a bit of quality to that, help us all reach the same goal and for us to get in the play-offs is the ideal goal so hopefully I’m here to help you guys reach that and vice versa.”

When asked about his spell with Cardiff last season, Drameh said: “I have to thank all the people that were there as well. They helped me to achieve that because without the team, I couldn’t really do anything so thank you to them. Hopefully I’m willing to have the same impact here.

“It is a very physical league, games are flying so you can’t really dwell on one result so hopefully I’m ready for the challenge and hopefully my team-mates can help me out with that!”

Leeds United supporters have taken to social media to wish the defender well at Kenilworth Road.

Here's what Leeds United supporters had to say following Cody Drameh's departure:

@Smtlufc said: "Good deal and will get to play. He’s third choice with us just now so makes a lot of sense."

@UnitedLeeds_14 said: "Best of luck Cody come back fit & firing next season."

@JackLUFC1919 tweeted: "Another player of the season coming."

@LUFC3012 said: "He should have gone on loan at the beginning of the season if he was that low down in the pecking order."

@MarstonWorld said: "Good luck to him, let’s hope he comes back stronger and fighting for a first-team place for it."

@MOTweets1919 tweeted: "Good loan. Hope he plays a lot and does well. Could easily be a part of the first-team in a big way next season if he does."
