Burnley, Norwich City and Watford remain the bookmakers favourites for relegation after the Clarets sacked Sean Dyche this morning. If any of the current bottom three get out of it it will be the Clarets, believe the bookies, but they still deem it to be a long short. Burnley are 4/11 to go down.
Leeds United are at 10/1 to be relegated, a sign of the remarkable turnaround under Jesse Marsch, with the Whites nine points clear of the bottom three. However, Burnley do have two games in hand on the Whites and a new manager bounce could change the relegation picture once more.
The Clarets still have to play Aston Villa twice, West Ham, Southampton, Wolves, relegation rivals Watford, Tottenham and Newcastle United on the final day. Under-23s coach Mike Jackson, assisted by Academy Director Paul Jenkins, Under-23s goalkeeping coach Connor King and Club Captain Ben Mee will take charge of the game against the Hammers.
