Leeds United (4-2-3-1)
1 Illan Meslier
An unforgivable error in allowing the opening goal from an impossible angle. Looked shaky on high balls throughout the afternoon. 4
2 Luke Ayling (c)
Did not catch the eye with the same influence as he did last week. No major calamities or errors. 6
5 Robin Koch
Was not commanding in dealing with crosses which came into the Leeds box. Battled well, but dithered at points. 5

39 Max Wober
Never looked right after landing awkwardly with an issue which presumably forced him off at the break. Neither assertive nor commanding around the box. Some hurried clearances went awry. 5
3 Junior Firpo
Solid afternoon with no major dramas on what was a difficult afternoon for the team. 6
28 Weston McKennie
No lack of effort from the American in getting around the field, but too many of his challenges were ineffectual. No real quality on the ball to hurt Everton. 5
12 Tyler Adams
As combative as ever, but did not have the same disruptive impact on the midfield battle as he normally can. Everton just had too many bodies in there for him to control. 6
10 Crysencio Summerville
Went by a few defenders on the afternoon and caused some distress, but no real end product to properly worry Jordan Pickford. 5
11 Jack Harrison
A wretched afternoon. Series of dire set-piece attempts in the second half added insult to injury. Plenty of dribbling and agile movement, but no threat or danger for Everton, who easily dispossessed him too frequently. 4
29 Wilfried Gnonto
Saw no change out of Seamus Coleman. The quietest display he has produced since breaking into the team. 4
9 Patrick Bamford
The centre-backs had him pocketed with ease. Ploughed a lone furrow and looked too isolated too often. Barely a sniff around the box. When the system fails, Bamford often looks like one of the poorest cogs on the field. 4
Substitutes
22 Joel Robles
6 Liam Cooper
7 Brenden Aaronson (on for Summerville 61min)
Did not change any aspect of the game when he came on. Had a half-chance of a volley at goal and the ball ended up closer to the corner flag than the bottom corner. 4
18 Darko Gyabi
24 Georginio Rutter (on for McKennie 78min)
Not much time to change the flow of the game. N/A
25 Rasmus Kristensen (on for Wober h/t)
Did pretty well and kept his side of the pitch locked down. 6
34 Diogo Monteiro
42 Sam Greenwood (on for Harrison 86min)
Late switch. N/A
49 Mateo Joseph
