Leeds United (4-3-3)
1 Illan Meslier
Good save to deny Kai Havertz in a one vs one during the first half. Came and punched a few balls he maybe should have caught. Not a lot he could do about the opener from close range. 7
2 Luke Ayling (c)
Battled well and led from the front. Largely stood up well to the threat from Joao Felix and Ben Chilwell down his flank. 7
5 Robin Koch
As steady as he has been throughout the last few weeks. Havertz kept relatively quiet save for the breakaway one vs one in the first half. 7

39 Max Wober
Much like Koch, did not put himself in a position to be exposed. Went to ground with big tackles and blocks at the right moments. 7
3 Junior Firpo
Continues to tick along. Raheem Sterling looked like hard work for him in the opening 15 minutes, but the Spaniard settled into his game and was generally decent for the Whites. 7
12 Tyler Adams
Battled throughout the afternoon, but looked overrun at points and struggled to give Leeds room to breathe as Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic took the game by the scruff of the neck. 6
28 Weston McKennie
Didn't get off the ground at all to even challenge Wesley Fofana for the opening goal. Shows the odd glimmer of class in a touch or movement, but didn't have the success Leeds needed from him in the centre to combat Enzo and Kovacic. 5
10 Crysencio Summerville
A horrendous opening 25 minutes or so as he consistently gave the ball away in tight moments, leaving teammates in the lurch. Recovered brilliantly to be a thorn in the hosts' sides up to the half-time whistle, but then faded to obscurity after the break. 5
7 Brenden Aaronson
Set-piece deliveries frustrated. Showed nothing in attack to bother the hosts. Looked weak up against the giants in Chelsea's defence. 4
11 Jack Harrison
Continues to frustrate with a poor final product, either from open play or dead balls. 4
24 Georginio Rutter
Zero presence up against a three-man defence. System did not suit him playing as a lone front man. Virtually anonymous apart from his one snapshot inside the box. 3
Substitutes
22 Joel Robles
8 Marc Roca
18 Darko Gyabi
21 Pascal Struijk
25 Rasmus Kristensen
29 Wilfried Gnonto (on for Rutter 68min)
Brought the movement, pace and dribbling we have come to expect from the Italian. 6
42 Sam Greenwood (on for Harrison 80min)
Asked to bring some order and control to the middle. N/A
49 Mateo Joseph (on for Aaronson 68min)
Didn't get a sniff. 5
63 Archie Gray
