Leeds United (4-2-3-1)
1 Illan Meslier
Virtually a spectator for long spells of the game. Helpless for the goal one vs one. Massive save to deny Nathan Patterson inside the final 10 minutes. 7
25 Rasmus Kristensen
Again looked suspect in defence and struggled to get a handle on Anthony Gordon. Right place at the right time with a late block. 6
5 Robin Koch
Like the goalkeeper, very little for the centre-back to do. 6

14 Diego Llorente
Will be frustrated he did not stop the pass into Gordon for the opener. Looked edgy at other moments too. 5
21 Pascal Struijk
Very good from left-back. Supported the play and became an option moving forward. Cleared up some defensive messes before they developed into something worse. 7
12 Tyler Adams
Anticipation on the pitch is fantastic. Screens the defence so well and reads where the danger's going to be before it even materialises. 7
8 Marc Roca
Had some lovely passes as usual, but brought more of Adams's attributes to the party too with some firm tackles and excellent interceptions. 7
23 Luis Sinisterra
What a week for the Colombian. Two full debuts, two goals and a hand in two others. Flourishes around the edges were decent to watch too, but goal showed variety in his finishing. 7
7 Brenden Aaronson
Some decent dribbling, but did not cut open Everton frequently enough. Good effort early in the second half set the tone for the fightback. 6
11 Jack Harrison
Excellent cross in the first half deserved a finish from Rodrigo. Typically decent first touches and ball carries, but end product not always there across the 90 minutes. 5
19 Rodrigo (c)
Should have done better with Harrison's cross. Went off with an injured shoulder. 5
Substitutes
13 Kristoffer Klaesson
4 Adam Forshaw
9 Patrick Bamford (on for Gelhardt 76min)
A sight for sore eyes with the transfer window closing. N/A
10 Crysencio Summerville
20 Daniel James (on for Aaronson 76min)
Fresh legs. N/A
30 Joe Gelhardt (on for Rodrigo 31min)
Gave the centre-backs something to think about if the tricks and flicks did not always open the defence up. Will kick himself for not beating Jordan Pickford before he came off. 6
37 Cody Drameh
42 Sam Greenwood
43 Mateusz Klich (on for Sinisterra 64min)
Found space and orchestrated attacks. 6
