Leeds United (4-1-4-1)
1 Illan Meslier
Outstanding save to deny Cristiano Ronaldo from point-blank range in the first half, but question marks on his goalkeeping for the Harry Maguire header and his near-post coverage for Fred in the second half. 7
2 Luke Ayling (c)
Much, much better than last weekend bringing the ball out from the back. First touch was good, drives were affective as his one-twos found their mark. Still, played his role in what was another generally shoddy defensive performance. 6
14 Diego Llorente
Again lost his man inexcusable at a corner to see the team go behind. Questions to be asked on his role in the second goal too. 5
21 Pascal Struijk
Snapped into a few decent tackles, but looked out of his depth once more when pushed forward. Left exposed by some cavalier attacking in the second half which gave him little support. 6
15 Stuart Dallas
Battled well and will be pleased to have got through the 90 after last weekend's injury. Steady as usual. 6
5 Robin Koch
Fared better than his last clash with Bruno Fernandes. Some decent interceptions and tackles, but a shame to see him go off after that clash of heads with Scott McTominay. 6
20 Daniel James
Pressed well, showed great energy and put his foot in where needed, but have to see more of the passing which served up Raphinha's equaliser. 6
4 Adam Forshaw
Phenomenal. Paul Pogba had the odd pocket of dominance in the first half, but generally, Forshaw was outstanding from minute one to the full-time whistle. If anyone summed up what this rivalry meant to the fans on the pitch, it was Forshaw with his grit, determination and huge tackles. Has to stay in the team. 8
43 Mateusz Klich
Ticked over really well in the middle of the park. Dovetailed brilliantly with Rodrigo throughout the game. Built attacking moves with his passing and competed across the field. Final product was not always there around the away box. 7
22 Jack Harrison
Saw very little of the action through the first half. Missed one glorious chance served up by Klich with a wild, early volley. 5
19 Rodrigo
It was a David de Gea error, but Rodrigo asked the question with a genius cross-cum-shot to give Leeds life in the second half. Proved the main threat on the attack through the first half as he dropped deep from the front. 7
Substitutes
13 Kristoffer Klaesson
3 Junior Firpo (on for Koch 31min)
Tired badly as the match wore on and his lack of recent minutes showed, but Firpo was good. Put his foot in and competed. Always an asset when he provides an option from deep in attack. 6
10 Raphinha (on for Harrison h/t)
Proving people wrong is probably what gets Raphinha out of bed in the morning. Marcelo Bielsa's snub would have only fuelled his fire as he came on at the break. Right place, right time for the goal, but, in truth, not a whole lot else from the Brazilian to really get juices flowing. 6
11 Tyler Roberts
26 Lewis Bate
30 Joe Gelhardt (on for Llorente h/t)
Looked bright and showed for the ball all the time. Everything that sat up for him was blocked or well-saved by de Gea. 6
35 Charlie Cresswell
46 Jamie Shackleton
54 Nohan Kenneh
