A look at the latest Leeds United headlines on Monday, March 13.
Whites 'closing in' on new deal for Jack Harrison
Football Insider claims Leeds United are closing in on a new deal for winger Jack Harrison. The Whites wide-man is out of contract in the summer of 2024 and the club do not want to sell him for a cut-price fee following interest from elsewhere.
Newcastle United and Leicester City have been credited with interest in the 26-year-old, with the Foxes close to agreeing a deal in January.

Wilfried Gnonto on how leaving home at 16 has helped him thrive at Leeds United
Wilfried Gnonto says leaving Italy for Switzerland at the age of 16 has made it easier for him to adapt to life at Leeds United. The Italian international spent his primitive years with Inter Milan's youth academy before joining FC Zurich on a free transfer in 2020.
He scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 74 appearances in all competitions during his two seasons in Switzerland, and won the league title last term. In June 2022, Gnonto was presented with his international debut and became Italy's youngest-ever goal scorer during their 5-2 defeat against Germany.
A move to Leeds followed and Gnonto has made a blistering start to life in the Premier League. He has found the net four times for the Whites so far, but admits that the squad are capable of doing a lot more.

Brighton restored their lead on the hour-mark courtesy of a comical own goal by Jack Harrison. But the Leeds winger made amends for his error by unleashing a stunning strike into the far top corner 12 minutes from time.
