Here are this evening's latest Leeds United headlines on Tuesday, May 16.
Gnonto 'convinced' by Leeds United decision
Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto has reiterated that he made the correct decision to join the club last summer, admitting the environment he finds himself in is what makes him 'love' football.
The 19-year-old forward arrived at the back of the summer transfer window for €4.5million and was expected to be something of a project before turning in some excellent early performances when handed a first-team opportunity.

In an interview with Chronache Di Spogliatoio, Gnonto has explained what he likes about the Premier League: “In the Premier League it’s not easy to dribble: everyone studies everyone so they know what you prefer to do and how you most commonly behave," he said. "You always have to train and think about doing something unexpected, it’s exciting because it stimulates you to try and do new things.
“Here I’ve found an environment that lets me make mistakes, there’s a lot more street football. All the skills I see on YouTube, I see them more commonly here. And that’s what makes me love football. From this point of view, I’d have liked to have grown up in England: I’d have had more agility and skills.”
Leeds United U21s stars' World Cup call-ups a 'collective effort'
Leeds United Under-21s assistant coach Michal Pujdak has hailed the work of all those at Thorp Arch and a number of their young internationals after a fine season. The Whites clinched promotion back to Premier League 2 Division 1 with a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the play-off final.
It rounds off an impressive season for the youngsters with a number receiving international call-ups last week. Darko Gyabi and Mateo Joseph will both head to Argentina to take part in England U20s squad for the tournament.
Elsewhere, Archie Gray has been called up to England U17s for their European Championship campaign. Charlie Crew is also set to link up with Wales U17s in the same tournament.
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher plot Leeds United's path to safety
Gary Neville believes both Leeds United and Everton will fancy their chances heading into the final two games of the Premier League season. The Whites are a point behind the Toffees who are outside of the relegation zone, and just three points behind Nottingham Forest in 16th.
Sam Allardyce's side picked up an important point against Newcastle to move above Leicester City, who were beaten 3-0 by Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Monday night. Both the Whites and and Toffees have a slightly more favourable run of games than their Premier League relegation rivals and Neville doesn't believe Steve Cooper's side are safe just yet.
Neville told Sky Sports prior to the Foxes defeat to Liverpool: "I don’t think 34 points will be enough. I think one more point might do it for them [Forest], but look, we’ve seen madness in the last few weeks with relegation, from Bournemouth to what happened with Everton at Brighton.
