Here are your latest Leeds United evening headlines for Sunday, January 1.
Leeds reportedly enter advanced talks with Maximilian Wöber
Leeds United are in advanced talks with Red Bull Salzburg over the signing of Austrian defender Maximilian Wöber, according to Sky Sports News.
Jesse Marsch refused to be drawn into discussing the situation surrounding Wöber in his post-match press conference following Leeds' goalless draw with Newcastle on Saturday.
However, Leeds have been strongly linked with the 24-year-old, who is a centre-back by trade, but can also play at left-back. Fabrizio Romano reported last week that the Whites are open to talks over a deal that could reach €16 million including add-ons.

Marsch signed Wöber from Sevilla during his spell at Red Bull Salzburg, and won two Austrian Bundesliga titles with the defender. Wöber has won three straight league and cup doubles with the Red Bulls, and has also been capped 13 times by Austria.
He has previous experience in the Netherlands and Spain at Ajax and Sevilla respectively - winning the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup with Ajax.
Raphinha’s New Year message following Barcelona draw with cheeky nod to Leeds United fans
Raphinha has paid tribute to “all of those responsible” for making his dreams come true in 2022. Two years at Elland Road saw the Brazilian become a Leeds United favourite under Marcelo Bielsa.
Supporters crowned Raphinha as their LeedsLive player of the season for his scintillating displays on the right flank last year. Despite staying up on the final day, the 26-year-old was a rare highlight in an otherwise disappointing campaign.
His heroics earned him a £50million move to Barcelona last summer. Since the switch, Raphinha has failed to live up to expectations at the Camp Nou.
Robin Koch explains how Jesse Marsch's pre-match plan helped stifle Newcastle
Robin Koch has revealed that Leeds United worked intensively on set pieces to prepare for the threat of Newcastle United. Leeds denied Newcastle the opportunity to extend their six-match winning streak with a dogged defensive display to earn a goalless draw at St James' Park.
Illan Meslier was forced into five saves but Leeds frustrated Newcastle to a register just their third clean sheet of the season, which Koch says the Whites had to 'fight' for.
