The Daily Mail reported in February that Raul had turned down the chance to take over Leeds United because he was holding out to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Raul has made a strong early impression as the head coach of Real Madrid Castilla, and Orta has revealed that he is an admirer of the Spaniard.
