Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Wednesday, 7 December 2022.
Classy U21s gesture
Leeds United U21s have been praised by Spanish fifth division side Orihuela CF after a friendly between the two teams on Tuesday. The Young Whites were pictured on Twitter sweeping and cleaning the dressing room post-match in order to leave it in the best condition possible.
Orihuela did not confirm the result on their social media, but posted the following message of gratitude to Leeds' youngsters. They wrote: "Many thanks to @LUFC for their civility, for their generosity and respect for us and our facilities. See you soon and good luck in the future."

Gnonto speaks
Smiles are never far from Wilfried Gnonto’s face. Everyone has seen him beaming in Leeds United white at Elland Road, but it’s the same in training and even when faced with the intrusion of the external media, Gnonto is grinning ear to ear.
The teenager’s got a lot to be happy about. Since transferring to the most-watched domestic football competition on the planet, he’s made his Premier League debut, become Italy’s youngest goal scorer in history and been shortlisted for the Golden Boy award.
“Yes, I am like this (happy),” he said. “I try to work hard, but enjoy myself and have fun with my team-mates. This is who I am and I don’t think I have to change it.”
Greenwood on training camp
Sam Greenwood says Leeds United's 'hard work' during their training camp in Spain will benefit the side's fitness levels when the Premier League returns later this month. After a two-week break during the World Cup, the players not representing their nations in Qatar have jetted out to Spain to prepare for the rest of the season.
Leeds will face reigning champions Manchester City on December 28, and Greenwood believes the intensity of the training and the opportunity to spend more time with his teammates has been good for the squad as a whole. Greenwood told LUTV: "It's going really well. I'm enjoying it and it's a good opportunity for the lads to get some work done and get prepared for the season.
"We've been training constantly. We haven't had too much free time yet, but I think we get one free afternoon but other than that it's just hard work and graft."
