Steven Gerrard approached by Saudi club over manager job
Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq have offered former Rangers and Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard the chance to become their new manager.
That is according to L'Equipe, who claim Gerrard has 'welcomed the offer' and will consider it as he plots his next move.
Gerrard has been linked with manager's job at both Leeds United and Leicester City this summer, but he is the latest big name to be linked with the Saudi game after the high profile transfers of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Wales boss Rob Page says returning Leeds United star is good enough for Premier League stay
Returning Leeds United loanee Dan James is good enough to earn a stay in the Premier League next season and a move away from Elland Road.
That is according to Wales boss Rob Page, who believes the 25-year-old Welsh international still has plenty to offer in the top flight, despite the Whites' relegation to the Championship.
"I do think DJ (James) is a Premier League player," Page told BBC Sport.
"If I'm a Premier League manager and I find out he's available, personally I'd take him. I'm bound to say that because I'm his Welsh manager, but for me he always poses a threat.
"He still has things to work on, but with the pace he's got it is a brave team that plays a high line against him. I think he could easily play in the Premier League again."

European side look to tempt Leeds United into Summerville sale with transfer clauses

Aston Villa, RB Liepzig and PSV Eindhoven were first reported to be showing interest in him, before German outlet Bild claimed on Friday that Borussia Dortmund are looking to reinvest some of the £100million they will earn from Jude Bellingham's sale to Real Madrid in the Leeds man, who they have been watching all season.
With the chase now appearing to be hotting up, Dutch publication De Telegraaf have details of how PSV could look to pip their rivals to the post. They report that PSV are ready to offer either a buy-back clause or a significant percentage of any future sale in a deal for Summerville, in an effort to tempt Leeds.
