Here are the latest Leeds United headlines on Wednesday, June 21.
Steven Gerrard favourite for Sheffield Wednesday job
While Leeds United fans still await news on who their next head coach will be, the managerial merry-go-round has continued to twirl this week. Whites supporters saw Andoni Iraola - a former Leeds target - take the helm at Bournemouth following the ruthless dismissal of Gary O'Neil on the south coast and now another boss linked with the Whites is being talked about for another vacant post.
Sheffield Wednesday's parting of ways with Darren Moore on Monday was another shock and means that Leeds' new-found Championship rivals are also in the market for a new boss. If the bookmakers are to be believed, then Steven Gerrard, an early frontrunner for the Elland Road job before speculation cooled off, is a contender for the Owls.
As per our Yorkshire Live colleagues, the bookies have him as an 11/4 favourite for the post at Hillsborough, ahead of Carlos Carvalhal (3/1) and Victor Campelos (4/1). Their list also contains Patrick Vieira (20/1), who is a contender for the Leeds job, plus United's last boss, Sam Allardyce (33/1).

Leeds are undergoing interviews in London this week and hope to seal an appointment as soon as possible.
Victor Orta downplays Leeds United transfer raid after Sevilla appointment
Former Leeds United sporting director Victor Orta has downplayed an approach for Whites' forward Rodrigo Moreno. The Spanish striker was the standout performer in an otherwise dismal campaign that resulted in relegation to the Championship.
Rodrigo scored 13 times and notched one assist in 31 games in the Premier League last season - his best return since moving to Elland Road. However, the Whites' relegation has reportedly triggered a £3.5million release clause which has caught the eye of a number of top European clubs.
Aston Villa have reportedly made Rodrigo a target this summer, with Unai Emery and new sporting director Monchi looking to take the Villains to another level. Monchi left Sevilla last week in a move that saw Orta return to his former club, where he worked for more than a decade under the world renowned director.
Everton showing Leeds United admiration with Summerville amongst quartet linked
Everton seem to be eyeing up an Elland Road raid with as many as four Leeds United players being linked with moves to Merseyside this week. Leeds will be keen to keep hold of as many players as possible following their relegation from the Premier League, as they look to launch a push towards promotion.
It seems inevitable, though, that some will leave the Whites this summer and the rumour mill is in full swing with players being linked away left, right and centre. However, according to reports, Everton are showing admiration of the talent United currently have on their books.
The Blues narrowly avoided relegation for the second season running last time around and it would seem as though they are keen to pick off the best players from those teams they finished above, with interest in a Leeds quartet. Crysencio Summerville is the latest to be linked with the Daily Telegraph suggesting that Everton could look to sign the Netherlands U21 international this summer.
