West Ham move for Phillips
Unlike Leeds United, West Ham appear to be moving themselves away from the relegation fight and are looking safer for next season. The Hammers could even compound the misery of Leeds fans by making a move for one of their own in Kalvin Phillips.
The Leeds hometown hero has not enjoyed a good first season with champions Manchester City, making just 17 appearances across all competitions. It has led to much speculation he will be on his way out of the club in the summer.
Liverpool had shown an interest, while Newcastle United has also been linked, but according to a new report it is West Ham who fancy getting their hands on the England man this summer.

Bamford failed to impress
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood was not impressed with Patrick Bamford's contribution in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City. Bamford started the game at the Etihad, but with the hosts dominating possession he had few opportunities to shine in the City half.
Sherwood had sympathy for Bamford against a dominant team, but also questioned the forward's lack of running.
He told Premier league Productions; “Did anyone see Patrick Bamford,” asked Sherwood. “I mean he was so poor. He never even run around. He tries his best. But he was isolated. You have to give him sympathy for that.”
Forshaw's big role to play
Sam Allardyce believes that long-serving midfielder Adam Forshaw will be 'tremendously important' to any hopes that Leeds United have of avoiding relegation after he returned to the starting line-up for the 2-1 defeat by Manchester City.
A major part of the much-improved defensive performance was the midfield work of Marc Roca, Weston McKennie and Forshaw, with Allardyce explaining that the latter is a player that had been highlighted to him by coaching staff at Thorp Arch.
"[Forshaw will be] Tremendously important because it's been pointed out to me by coaches, by a lot of the staff at the football club that the midfield has been slightly weak in terms of particularly its out-of-possession work," Allardyce explained.
