Kristensen features in Denmark comeback
Leeds’ latest imminent arrival Rasmus Kristensen featured for Denmark on Friday evening as they beat France 2-1 in the first game of this year’s Nations League.
The 24-year-old started on the bench at the Stade de France, coming on in the 60th minute with his side 1-0 down, before two goals from Trabzonspor striker Andreas Cornelius turned the clash on its head.
Kristensen certainly helped to make the difference in France, putting in a strong half-hour on the right and providing plenty of attacking threat against the current world champions.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday that the Dane is ‘expected to join Leeds in the coming days’, and that the final details are being sorted.
Praise heaped on Aaronson after USA win
And the Whites' first big-name signing, Brendan Aaronson, was also in line for some promising praise after his USA team beat Morocco 3-0 on Thursday.
The 21-year-old started for his country and scored the opener, arriving into the box to latch onto a Christian Pulisic pass and tap in.
And ESPN pundit Herculez Gomez told ESPN FC : “"His stock is going up. I don't care where this kid is playing, he shows you how dangerous he can be. How composed he is on the ball, how creative he is but also, as an eight, he showed this: the bite, the grit, the duality to his game.”
Liverpool signing could open door for ex-Salzburg player
Victor Orta will be keeping a close eye on developments at Anfield as Liverpool close in on the signing of Fulham wonderkid Fabio Carvalho.
The Reds tried to sign the 19-year-old in January and made their interest clear, but when the move fell through both club and player looked forward to a summer signing.
Leeds’ interest lies in the possibility that Carvalho’s arrival will likely open the door to leave for Takumi Minamino, who has been linked with a move to Elland Road.
He and Jesse Marsch crossed paths at Red Bull Salzburg in 2019 and the Japan international fits the narrow system, and with 10 goals in 24 games for Liverpool this season, he’s proven his pedigree.
