Phillips, Raphinha reunion
Former Leeds United duo Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha are set for a quick reunion this evening as Barcelona host Manchester City in a mid-season friendly. Both players sealed their exits from the Whites last month with Phillips joining City, and Raphinha making the switch to Barcelona.
With the two former Leeds stars both having started on the bench for their respective sides on Sunday, it would be no surprise to see them start at the Camp Nou this evening. The two clubs are set to go head-to-head in order to raise money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), an incurable neurodegenerative disease.
Third round draw
Leeds United could discover their third round Carabao Cup opponents on Wednesday evening providing they overcome Barnsley. The Whites will be looking to continue their fine start to the season when they host the League One side at Elland Road by progressing to the next stage of the competition.

The remaining seven Premier League teams who qualified for Europe last season are set to enter in the third round, including current holders Liverpool. Though the exact date for the third-round draw has not yet been confirmed, it is likely to take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Newcastle United’s trip to Tranmere Rovers.

Alan Shearer says Chelsea 'couldn't handle' Leeds United star Brenden Aaronson on Sunday. The American scored his first goal for Leeds as the Whites romped to a 3-0 victory over Thomas Tuchel's side.
Aaronson has impressed during his start to life at Leeds, but his strike against Chelsea was his first goal for the club after being cruelly denied a goal against Wolves on his debut. The 21-year-old has caught the eye with his work-rate and was named by Shearer in his Premier League Team of the Week for his efforts.
Shearer said: "Chelsea couldn't handle his runs from deep and he was rewarded for pressurising Edouard Mendy with a goal."
