Pep Guardiola linked with Brazil job ahead of Premier League return against Leeds
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has been linked with the Brazil job just weeks before the reigning Premier League champions are set to travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds United in their first league match back after the World Cup.
The pre-tournament favourites fell victim to a major shock as they were dumped out of the World Cup by Croatia on penalties at the quarter-final stage, leading to manager Tite leaving his position.
As a result, SPORT have reported that the Brazilian Football Confederation are hoping to enquire about the City boss' availability, as the look to make a managerial 'coup' despite recently signing a two-year contract extension at the Etihad.

Jesse Marsch fails to rule out Mateusz Klich departure
Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch hasn't ruled out a potential January departure for midfielder Mateusz Klich after being quizzed on the 32-year-old's future after he had scored the winning goal in a friendly at Spanish side Elche on Friday.
“It's (Klich’s future) not totally clear yet,” the American said. “We should hold off on saying anything about that. Obviously, there's been some conversations, but nothing's concrete yet.
“There's a lot of love for Mateusz in the group, right? He's an incredible person. So we like him.”
The 41-cap Poland international has been linked with a move to MLS side D.C. United, managed by Wayne Rooney, and could see a five-and-a-half year affiliation with the Whites come to an end next month.
