Patrick Bamford 'a concern' for Leeds United and Jesse Marsch
Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills has warned Jesse Marsch that Patrick Bamford's poor run of form in front of goal is a concern. It's approaching a year to the day since Bamford last scored for the Whites.
A statistic somewhat exaggerated given how long the striker missed with injury, but a concern nonetheless. The 29-year-old scored an impressive 17 goals in Leeds' first season back in the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa, but has not been able to find that golden touch in front of goal and was once again missing on Saturday from the 4-3 win over Bournemouth.

"I think it is a bit of a concern because he's so heavily relied on," Mills told OLBG. "Under Bielsa, it wasn't just his goals, but it was the way he played and lead the line for Leeds."

Rob Earle believes Leeds United’s victory over Liverpool at Anfield last Saturday proved that Jesse Marsch has the support of his players, and the Leeds fanbase.

'The best team by far' - Gary O'Neil claims Bournemouth deserved to beat Leeds United
Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil believes his side 'were the best team by far' in their 4-3 defeat to Leeds United on Saturday. The Cherries had looked comfortable and in control with the score at 3-1 but collapsed as they conceded three goals in the final half an hour to return home empty handed.
After a rapid start to the match from Leeds through Rodrigo's early penalty, Bournemouth were the better side for much of the first half and deservedly went into the break ahead. Dominic Solanke then doubled their lead shortly after the restart but from there on in, it was all Leeds.
It is the second match in a row that Bournemouth have lost after taking a two-goal lead. However, speaking after the game, O'Neil was critical of his side's defending but insisted they deserved to take home all three points.
