Leeds United players past and present react after Kalvin Phillips plays part in England win
Former Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has revealed his delight at England's rampant 3-0 World Cup Round of 16 win over Senegal.
Phillips, now playing for Manchester City, came on in the 82nd minute to replace goalscorer Jordan Henderson as England cruised into the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
Taking to Instagram in the aftermath of the impressive win, Phillips wrote: "Class performance from the boys, absolutely buzzing. See you all on Saturday."

France and Kylian Mbappe wait in the next round for Phillips and co, who know they will be going into the clash as underdogs.
And a trio of Leeds players, past and present, were quick to send Phillips some messages of support.
Former Whites defender Leif Davis sent Phillips two blue hearts while Luke Ayling wrote "Love it Phil" on the midfielder's Instagram.
Conor Shaughnessy, now at Burton Albion, wrote "Go onnnnnnn lovely stuff."

Leeds United opened up their winter training camp in Spain with sessions at the Oliva Nova resort just off the Mediterranean coast on Sunday morning.
Jesse Marsch and his coaching staff led a large group at the start of five days culminating in the friendly with Elche on Thursday.
Seven players were absent from the camp entirely, with four ill or injured, while the World Cup participants have been given until December 12 before returning to Thorp Arch.
Stuart Dallas and Luis Sinisterra are at the camp, but not playing a full part because of their respective rehabilitation programmes.

Leeds United are currently in Spain as preparations ramp up towards a return to Premier League action later this month.
The Whites are set to face Elche on Thursday in what will be their first match since the 4-3 defeat at Tottenham before the break.
Upon their arrival today, Leeds provided an update on the state of their squad with four players currently absent from the travelling party.
