Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.
Orta’s survival hope
Victor Orta is hopeful that Leeds United will do enough in the coming months to secure their Premier League survival.
The Whites sit 15 th in the table with a five-point cushion on the bottom three but have not won in over a month when they defeated West Ham 3-2.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have conceded 10 goals in their last three matches, but Orta remains confident they can steer clear of danger.
“We are doing well enough, but not enough with the sensations,” he told COPE Sports. “All of the leadership are working, and I have the feeling that we will be safe.”

Marsch on Leeds speculation
Jesse Marsch has refused to comment on speculation linking him to the Leeds United job as Marcelo Bielsa’s potential replacement.
Marsch is reportedly Leeds’ top managerial target if Bielsa decides to call it a day at Elland Road in the summer.
Bielsa is not one to discuss speculation over his own future, insisting he is always 'subject to evaluation' following a difficult second season in the Premier League to date.
Marsch has been out of work since leaving the Bundesliga outfit in December, and was asked by Liverpool legend Carragher on CBS Sports whether the pair would be speaking more regularly in the Premier League next season.
Marsch replied: "You've been reading the newspapers and Twitter too much Jamie!"
When Carragher pressed for an exclusive, the 48-year-old answered: "I'm enjoying being unemployed, let's just say that.
"I'm enjoying a little bit of free time now."

Predicted line-ups
Leeds United will be forced into making at least one change for this evening’s trip to Premier League title hopefuls Liverpool.
With Robin Koch absent due to concussion protocols, one of Raphinha or Junior Firpo is likely to come in, which would mean a considerable reshuffle of the side.
Adam Forshaw is likely to deputise in the holding midfield role, and it remains unclear what role Stuart Dallas will be handed this evening.
Joe Gelhardt will also be pushing for a start following his decent 45-minute cameo from the bench against Manchester United.
