Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Thursday, 17 November 2022.
James on Adams & Aaronson
On-loan winger Daniel James has praised Leeds United duo Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson ahead of Wales' World Cup meeting with USA. The two nations are set to go head-to-head on the second day of the competition as they prepare to get their Group B campaigns underway.
James left Leeds on deadline day in the summer but spent a few months working alongside Adams and Aaronson at Elland Road. He claimed the American duo both have 'great attitudes' and is expecting to face a 'very athletic team when they go up against each other.
Via 90min.com, he said: "They [USMNT] have got an incredible squad. We played against them at Swansea and they played all their European players because of COVID. They're a very athletic team, and I've obviously played with two players at Leeds and they've got great attitudes. I think it'll be a great match up.

"Going to the World Cup they've got expectations of going through. With us it's just about how we can go into every game believing we can win and with full confidence."
Marsch World Cup role
Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has found himself a new temporary role away from Elland Road during the World Cup break as a writer for The Athletic.
Marsch will be just one of many new guest writers announced by the outlet, with others like Demba Ba, Ryan Babel, Sam Mewis, Mauricio Pochettino, Juanma Lillo, Ben Mee, Clint Dempsey, Antonio Valencia, Chloe Morgan, Yaya Touré and Leah Williamson all contributing to the site over the course of the tournament.
A handful of his players have been selected to play in the tournament, including fellow Americans Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson as well as Welshman Dan James and Denmark international Rasmus Kristensen.

Ratings so far
Leeds United have had an up and down Premier League season so far. The Whites started so brightly with wins coming over Wolves and Chelsea, but their form tailed off after that, going eight games without a win.
The remarkable victory at Liverpool bucked that streak, though, and a win over Bournemouth followed at the start of November. Jesse Marsch’s side couldn’t build on that at Tottenham Hotspur last time out, unfortunately, losing 4-3 after taking the lead three times in the game.
Some players have really caught the eye this season so far, while others have struggled to get going and find form. With the Premier League taking a break for the World Cup, Leeds Live provide their player ratings for the season so far.
Only those who have played three first-team games or more have been included.
