Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Sunday, 6 November 2022.
Whelan on Kristensen
Former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan believes Rasmus Kristensen is slowly, but surely showing signs of adapting to the Premier League. Kristensen made the switch from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer but has taken some time to settle into life in English football.
He has, however, shown signs of improvement in recent matches with decent performances against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal. Speaking to Football Insider, Whelan revealed he is 'quietly confident' that Kristensen will continue to get better and become an important player for the Whites.
“I do. I think Jesse’s right – it’s taken him a bit of time to settle in, as it does with a lot of players coming into this league. But as the season has gone on, we’ve seen him getting better and better and more adapted to what is required from a full-back in the Premier League.

“It’s quite an intense position for anyone to play. I think everyone is fairly pleased with all the new signings. Kristensen was one that was maybe lagging behind the likes of Aaronson, Adams, and Roca – but we’re quietly confident now that he’s getting better, stronger, and more adapted to Leeds United.”
Cooper delight
Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has hailed Crysencio Summerville's late winner as 'unbelievable' after his side's comeback victory against Bournemouth at Elland Road last night. The 31-year-old scored the equaliser after 68 minutes following an incredible curling effort from Sam Greenwood before Summerville fired past Cherries goalkeeper Mark Travers to secure all three points for the Whites.
Speaking to LUTV after the game, Cooper gave his thoughts on the game as a whole and despite being disappointed at giving away the lead so early, the atmosphere in the dressing room was electric at full-time.
"Yeah, it was unbelievable," said Cooper. "Obviously in the ascendancy at the start buy we gave it away again and you feel the frustration around you in the ground. But as a group, we kept going and kept going, we pushed and we pushed and we scored a lot of good goals and the dressing room is buzzing, they're delighted with that."

Youngsters shining
An amazing statistic from Leeds United's comeback win over Bournemouth has highlighted both the dependency and belief in their younger players.
Youngsters Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville and Sam Greenwood all had major roles to play in the win after being 3-1 down in the 48th minute and have proved themselves in the minutes they have throughout the season.
Greenwood scored the Whites' second goal with a great curling effort on the hour mark, eight minutes before captain Liam Cooper thumped home a header to level the score.
