Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, 24 May.
Koch happy at Leeds
Leeds United defender Robin Koch has revealed he is ‘super comfortable’ at the club and is already setting targets for next season. Koch helped the Whites secure survival on the final day of the campaign with a 2-1 win over Brentford at the weekend.
Reports circulated around a month ago that Leeds could be willing to listen to offers for Koch this summer, though his performances in the run-in may have put a stop to that. Speaking in an interview with Bild, Koch discussed his happiness at Elland Road and is hoping to have a ‘more successful’ season next year.

He said: “I feel super comfortable in the city and at the club and have a contract here. When I joined Leeds we had a project in mind, a journey that is not over for us as a team.
“If you have to fight until the last minute, it’s even nicer when you achieved the goal. Staying in the league is hugely important for all of us, but we know there’s a lot more to this team. We want to prove that next season and be in other regions of the table again.
“My personal goal is also to be a strong team in the Premier League with Leeds and to have a more successful season overall with my teammates.”
Phillips call-up
The season will indeed end on a high note for Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips after he has been named in England's squad for the Nations League ahead of their four games in 11 days. Phillips will hope to continue his partnership with Declan Rice after the two impressed at EURO 2020, ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this winter.
The Three Lions games come just days after the penultimate weekend of Premier League football - which saw a dramatic finish to the season for Leeds United as they secured their spot in the Premier League.
There are just two camps remaining before England’s World Cup campaign gets under way against Iran on November 21, in which we'll see a pause in Premier League action for a month, with preparations continuing with four Nations League fixtures in June.
Leeds’ Everton request
Both Leeds United and Burnley have reportedly told the Premier League to hand over copies of any evidence it has collected about Everton’s finances on a possible rule breach after the Merseyside club were able to avoid relegation.
Questions have been asked of the Premier League by Leeds United about their handling of Everton’s £371.8m losses across the last three years - with a potential breach of the financial fair play rules. Last week, The Times reported a joint letter went into the organisation from Burnley and Leeds ahead of the final day of the Premier League season.
