Here are this morning's latest Leeds United headlines on Tuesday, May 2.
Carragher reacts to Allardyce speculation
Jamie Carragher gave his initial reaction to the news that Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Sam Allardyce as a replacement for under-fire Javi Gracia on Sky Sports on Monday evening. While he admitted that there is 'no one better' at making a side more solid at the back, a lack of time and the fans' potential reaction could be an issue.
"Sean Dyche is that sort of similar manager," Carragher said on Monday Night Football.

"He's come in at Everton to that job of making them better defensively. We know in the past Sam Allardyce has done that job before. I don't think he's ever come in this late. When he's normally come in he's had a January transfer window where he can bring his own players in and have that time to change it.
"I think it would be a decent appointment. Whether the crowd get behind that, I'm not so sure. I don't know how Leeds supporters would react to Sam Allardyce but in terms of trying to make them more solid, better defensively, there's probably no one better out there."
Allardyce linked
Leeds United are reportedly 'strongly considering' a move for Sam Allardyce as they look set to part ways with head coach Javi Gracia.
According to the Athletic, relegation-haunted Leeds are ready to call time on Javi Gracia's ten-week spell in charge at Elland Road after Sunday's 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth saw what has been a dire run of form continue, with the club sinking to 17th place in the Premier League table last night after Leicester City edged ahead of them after drawing with Everton.
Just four games of the Premier League season remain and with Leeds facing a daunting run-in starting with a trip to treble-chasing Manchester City on Saturday, it would appear that they are looking to parachute in the veteran former Bolton and England manager.
Changes that must be made against Manchester City
Leeds United have the unenviable task of trying to bounce back to winning ways this weekend at league leaders Manchester City. The Whites lost in convincing fashion at Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon and changes will have to be made yet again. Here’s a look at the decisions the head coach might have to make ahead of the clash.
