Redfearn praise
Former Whites manager Neil Redfearn has praised Jesse Marsch's side following last night's 2-2 draw with West Ham United. While impressed by the much-improved performance, one caveat was conceding each side of half-time.
“The only thing they got wrong tonight was a minute either side of half-time," Redfearn told BBC Radio Leeds. "They looked sloppy for the first goal at the back and they gave them the second one, but other than that they were brilliant tonight.

“They engaged with the supporters, they got the crowd off their feet, they were on the front foot and aggressive, they passed it well and for me, that’s how to play.
“They got the ball down and played, they were composed and when they needed to go after it they went after it, they covered for one another and they played like a team. [They were] brilliant tonight.”
Forshaw injury update
Adam Forshaw is currently rated as touch and go for Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Cardiff City, Jesse Marsch has confirmed. The midfielder started the Whites last two Premier League games in 2022, but he wasn’t involved in the squad at all on Wednesday night against West Ham United and his absence was noted.
“We had a little procedure done with him today that we think is a couple days and then we'll see how he recovers,” Marsch confirmed on Wednesday night. “It's his hip that is causing him some issues.
“We're hopeful, it's like a little shot that can help loosen things up and hopefully help him with the pain.”

Words will struggle to do Mateusz Klich’s Leeds career justice. He was the footballer who summed up the transformation of the club and city when Bielsa arrived in 2018.
If the Argentine was the mastermind behind the awakening of the giant, Klich was the embodiment on the field. Bombed out by Thomas Christiansen, then farmed out to the Netherlands, with four years since his last Poland call-up, Klich was done.

Klich letter
Mateusz Klich has penned an emotional open letter after his exit was confirmed on Wednesday evening.
The Polish midfielder was given a guard of honour by his teammates, who were sporting t-shirts honouring the Whites promotion hero following the 2-2 draw against West Ham, with the club soon confirming that he had been released from his contract ahead of a move to MLS side DC United.
