Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, July 12.
Crystal Palace name number of absentees for Whites friendly
Leeds United's pre-season opponents Crystal Palace have named a weakened squad for their tour of Australia. The Whites are set to face Palace on July 22, but Patrick Vieira will be without eight of his key players.
Talisman Wilfried Zaha will not travel, while Marc Guehi, Jeffrey Schlupp, Eberechi Eze, Will Hughes, Christian Benteke, Nathan Ferguson and Luke Plange will not be available due to various reasons.
Leeds 'set to accept' Raphinha offer
Leeds are 'set to accept' a €58 million bid from Barcelona for Raphinha, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The reported €58 million fee could rise to €68 million with future add-ons. Romano has stated that Raphinha's move to Barcelona is now in the 'final stages'. The Brazilian has been linked a move away from Elland Road this summer, with Chelsea and Arsenal both interested, but it seems Barcelona are now close to getting a deal over the line.
Galatasaray set sights on Leeds attacker
Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly earmarked Leeds United's Rodrigo Moreno as a potential alternative to Cagliari's Joao Pedro. According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Galatasaray have reached an agreement with the Italian club for Pedro, but the player's agent has requested a higher 'commission', putting the deal in doubt.
Galatasaray could instead move for Rodrigo, with talks reportedly having already taken place between the two clubs. Rodrigo is Leeds' record signing having joined from Valencia for £27 million in 2020, but he has failed to meet expectations, scoring 13 goals in 61 appearances for the Whites.
