Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, December 27.
Radrizzani quotes
Andrea Radrizzani has admitted Leeds United will require more investment if the club are to continue progressing. Radrizzani has been at Elland Road for almost six years now and has overseen the club's return to the Premier League.
Leeds are in their third season back in the top-flight but have endured a difficult last 18 months after narrowly avoiding relegation last season and another tough start to the current campaign. Speaking to Corriere della Sera, Radrizzani acknowledged that 'more resources' are needed in order to compete at the top.
He said: “I want to operate as a private equity in sport. Yes, perhaps Leeds can grow further, but in the future, they will need more resources to be able to reach higher levels and compete with the best clubs in the Premier League, as a result I believe that, due to the history of the club and the respect I have for the fans, it is right to let those who can invest more than me go forward, and bring them to the glory of the past. There is also a design aspect: this is my sixth year, change is healthy."

Predicted XI
Forty-five days may have passed since Leeds United’s last competitive fixture along with what feels like an ocean of change, but three switches could be the limit of Jesse Marsch’s tinkering tomorrow. There could be a formation change too after some distinct shifts in the last two friendlies.
Illan Meslier could retain the gloves between the sticks against all the odds. When it became clear the goalkeeper had glandular fever at the start of the month, there was scepticism he might be fit to play before 2023.
However, the tone of Marsch’s answers on the Frenchman last week, as well as his presence at Elland Road for the friendlies and open training, suggest Meslier has a real chance. Marsch expected him to be in full training last week and that means he has to face Manchester City.

Backroom exit
Former Leeds United coach Mark Jackson has added Whites performance analyst Aaron Dagger to his MK Dons backroom staff.
Jackson, who spent a number of years coaching at Elland Road, departed Leeds last week to take up the MK Dons job which had been vacant ever since Liam Manning's exit earlier this month. And his Dons appointment has seen him add 32-year-old Dagger to his backroom staff.
